Mostly this causes due to the inactive life or desk-bound job of the patient.

Stroke

The brain, like all parts of the body, needs oxygen, which it gets from the blood. A stroke occurs when the flow of blood in a part of the brain is blocked. When brain cells are starved of oxygen, they become damaged and the symptoms that follow are called a stroke.

Epilepsy

The communication between the different parts of the brain occurs through information exchange between billions of neurons present in the brain and makes this fast and continuous communication possible. If at any point in time, there is a glitch in the brain’s electrical activity, then that particular part of the brain or sometimes the whole brain stops working temporarily. This phenomenon is known as Epileptic fit.

Peripheral Neuropathy

Peripheral neuropathy is a disorder that occurs when nerves that connect the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body, damages or destroys. This disturbs the normal functioning of nerves. This causes weakness, numbness, and pain usually in the hands and feet, and can also affect other areas of the body.

Parkinson Disease

Parkinson’s disease is a nervous system disorder that affects the movement of the body. It leads to shaking in one hand, slow movement, stiffness, difficulty with walking, and loss of balance and coordination. The symptoms of this disease usually begin gradually and get worse over time.

Movement Disorders Like Tremors, Dystonias, Chorea

Movement disorders are the conditions that cause abnormal increased movements, which may be voluntary or involuntary. Tremors are disorders that cause rhythmic shaking. Dystonia involves involuntary muscle contraction that causes repetitive and twisting movements and in Chorea, the restless movements usually appear in hands, feet, and face.

Brain And Spinal Cord Infections

The infections in the brain and spinal cord are caused due to viruses. The virus reaches the central nervous system through the bloodstream or peripheral nerves. The growth of the virus inside the brain can cause unwanted problems.
